About Us Blue Moon Goods is run by a mother (Kim) and her daughter (Ki) and is headquartered in the Silicon Valley. Kim has an extensive background as a manager in the high-tech industry while Ki has experience with public relations and marketing. Kim and Ki wanted to start a company with products emphasizing health and longevity. Thus, Blue Moon Goods was born. Many Blue Moon Goods meetings take place over a cast iron teapot filled with their favorite tea while brainstorming creative new products designed to emphasize health and well being. Blue Moon Goods offers what the big companies cannot - unbeatable customer service. Orders are typically shipped out the same day they are received or the next day at the latest. Emails are responded to in a timely manner by a member of the Blue Moon Goods team. "I feel so lucky because I am doing what I love." said Ki. "My mom and I make a great team. We both bring different strengths to the table. You won't find one thing on this Web site that we don't use ourselves. We stand by all our products and enthusiastically recommend them to everyone we know." Kim and Ki make the time to attend shows and events on the topic of health so that Blue Moon Goods can remain on the cusp of the industry. "There are so many products out there that it takes a lot of research to ensure we carry the best," explained Kim. "If the item isn't practical and affordable, it isn't a good product and you won't find it here!" In addition to studying what industry experts are saying, Kim and Ki want to hear from their customers. Please email Kim at Kim@BlueMoonGoods.com or Ki at Ki@BlueMoonGoods.com to share your opinion or experiences with the products you have purchased from Blue Moon Goods. "Our goal is to have everyone fall in love with these products as much as we have," said Ki. "So we invite you to enjoy your time on www.BlueMoonGoods.com and come back often!"
Interesting 'Blue Moon' facts
Popular definition is that a 'blue moon' is the 2nd full moon to occur in a single calendar month. There are at least 6 different definitions but this is the one we like here at Blue Moon Goods.
The term 'blue moon' dates back to at least the time of Shakespeare and probably started with an anonymous poem from 1528. However, the term 'once in a blue moon' used to mean 'once in a while' only dates back about 150 years according to experts. A blue moon is not blue. At times it can appear to be blue by ash, dust or smoke in the atmosphere caused by large forest fires or volcanic eruptions, but no more often than 'regular' moons are blue. In the last 100 centuries the month with the most blue moons is October. Followed by August and July. Naturally months with 31 days will have a much higher occurrence of blue moon than months with 30 days or less. Question: how many blue moons in February in the last 10,000 years? Answer: none. We highly recommend that you not put off ordering from us until the next blue moon! |
